Second carafe replacement (both cracked) but first from amazon.com. Excellent product by Krups. Exact fit for proper operation of appliance.
You can buy a MR COFFEE coffee maker with the same size carafe and at the same price as the Krups replacement carafe. The only down side is the price. Not sure the quality is the same, but maybe. Krups replacement carafe arrived quickly and with a lid. Other sites offered same carafe at same price, without lid.
Because it didn't fit my unit, it had stated that it was a replacement item for the unit. I purcahsed this item and returned it.
This Carafe is as good or better than the original, arrived quickly, and I was brewing coffee the next morning. I'm happy that I'm able to continue to use my favorite coffeemaker.
